Resolved Question: Yahoo Answers official most desireable and least desireable nba teams to play for?
30.Toronto-why does an american athlete want to become a nobody and play in canada?
29.Utah-unless your mormon, this place will not be fun for you
28.Minnesota-hockey state, way too cold
27.Milwaukee-Wisconsin isnt exactly a media hot spot
26.Denver-the mile high city is hard to breath in, very boring to live in
25.Portland-rains too much, very little excitement in the northwest
24.Indiana-the cradle state of the sport isnt enough to have players oozing to play there
23.Charlotte-who wants to play in a state where its college teams are more well known and successful than the pro team
22.Memphis-great city, great nightlife, too bad not too many people care about basketball in the state of tennessee
21.Oklahoma City-the sooner state bleeds pride in their sports teams, hinting at their universities football team and… not the thunder
20.San Antonio-remember the alamo indeed but if it wasnt for the great teams theyve had….this would be another forgotten franchise
19.Sacramento-yes it is the capital of california but we all know L.A. and S.F. are the states pride and joy. its also nicknamed “cow town” which doesnt sound very intriguing
18.New Jersey-yeah theyre supposively moving to brooklyn. but theyre stuck in jersey for now. great diners in the garden state though
17.Golden State-aka Oakland California isnt exactly the hamptons. rough city thats produced numerous athletes with little high class neighborhoods
16.Detroit-the motor city also has some ghetto attached to the franchise which is too bad because detroit is a great city
15.Cleveland-yes the midwest is the heart of america but cleveland’s not a big market which has proven to be a big dilemna for the franchise when trying to sign and trade for players
14.Phoenix-yes phoenix has the great desert weather, but arizona is heaven for party crazy college students not basketball players
13.Washington-nations capitol is burried with history but far from destination choice numero uno
12.New Orleans-the vulnerable hurricane hot spot is still a crackin place to live, eat, play and relax
11.LAC-yes your the forgotten team of the city.in fact UCLA gets more love, but your still in L.A. it could be worse
10.Orlando-great florida weather.too bad its seen as second fiddle compared to miami.however the kids love disneyworld.
9.Atlanta-known as the capitol of the south. the little success that has came with the franchise has hurt their rank. dont see too many complaints when players land there though
8.Dallas-theyre not the cowboys but they always seem to compete, good sports city, good fans
7.Philadelphia-the city and state puts the pressure on its teams no doubt but Philly is the land of Rocky and cheesesteaks.hard to compete with
6.Houston-the pride of texas, this city loves their teams.strong franchise history and houston is a happening place with lots to do
5.Chicago-who wouldnt want to play in the house that michael built? the windy city also has some good food i hear
4.Boston-the parquet floor is luring, the franchises history is great, celtic pride, boston loves their teams.however boston is a historical city not a place young ballers want to reside for months
3.Miami-who wouldnt want to be by the beach and the girls in bikinis?the place has weather, girls, nightlife.the franchises success cant put them up any higher than 3 however
2.New York-yes the epicenter of our country. it is the be all end all. MSG,time square, the big apple new york has it all.however the knicks arent the yankees and the arena they play in is has more history than their franchise
1.LAL-combine a great city that is the New York of the West with the tradition similar to the Celtics and thats the lakers.most hated nba franchise, most loved franchise. you can be on a below 500. laker benchwarmer team and the whole basketball world will still know who you are. look at smush parker. he soaked up his 15 minutes of fame with the lakeshow

Resolved Question: NBA draft 09???? Ur picks??????????
HERES MINE from my website luckywilliams.ning.com
1. LA Clippers- Blake Griffin PF/C, 6-10, 250, Oklahoma, Sophomore, 22.7 ppg, 14.4 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.2 bpg, 65.4% FG.
I think Blake will fit in well with this roster depending on how well Mike Dunleavy Sr. rotates this team because they have an above average player at every position, and have a great supporting bench!
2. Memphis Grizzlies- Hasheem Thabeet, C, 7-3, 265, Connecticut, Junior, 13.6 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 0.5 apg, 4.2 bpg, 64.0% FG.
Memphis need a big defencive body to grab rebounds and block shots. Now Marc Gasol is becommin a great player he just needs help down low, and this team will be great if OJ Mayo can start getting his teammates involved and if Mike Conley Jr. can live up to what he was suppose to be.
3. Oklahoma City Thunder- Jordan Hill, PF, 6-10, 235, Arizona, Junior, 18.3 ppg, 11.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.7 bpg, 53.7% FG.
This guy is very athletic but not too great of a defender, he can be an effective scorer behind Durant and Westbrook. He can help out Chris Wilcox down low on boards. Jeff green needs to get more effective.
4. Sacramento Kings- Tyreke Evans, SG, 6-6, 220, Memphis, Freshman, 17.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.9 apg, 2.1 spg, 45.5% FG, 27.4% 3FG.
The Kings need a player they can build a team around and Evans is a Great player! He would be a great 2 guard this guy led memphis to the tornament. Just needs to get his team more involved.
5. Washington Wizards-Ricky Rubio, PG, 6-4, 180, International.
I think this would be a good fit do to all of Agent Zeros injuries they need a new point guard. Nick young needs some help.
6. Minnesota Timberwolves- James Harden, SG, 6-5, 220, ASU, Sophomore, 20.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.7 spg, 48.9% FG, 35.6% 3FG.
The T’Wolves have 5 picks, 3 of which are in the first round. Harden would be a great pick for them, putting him next to Foye a very versitile point guard. Best scorer in the draft behind Curry, most compare him to Manu Ginobli or Paul Pierce. They have the 18th pick they need to gett a big like Dajaun blair, Bj Mullens, Austin Daye, Tyler Hansborough,
7. Golden State Warriors- Brandon Jennings, PG, 6-1, 170, International
This is a perfect fit i just don’t think he will get to play as much because Monta Ellis! My fav player in the draft, he is a human highlight reel, very flashy guard very underrated!!
8. New York Knicks- Stephen Curry, G, 6-3, 185, Davidson, Junior, 28.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.6 apg, 45.4% FG, 38.7% 3FG
A scoring phenom who can shoot the lights out and create mountains of points. A scoring guard who isn’t a pure point but can create and make things happen for others.
9. Toronto Raptors-Demar DeRozan, G/F, 6-7, 220, USC, Freshman, 13.9 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.9 spg, 52.3% FG, 16.7% 3FG.
Toronto needs more help on the boards this player can help he is SUPER athletic, Great hops, but still is working on sum fundamental skills.
10. Milwaukee Bucks- Jonny Flynn, PG, 6-0, 185, Syracuse, Sophomore, 17.4 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 6.7 apg, 1.4 spg, 46.0% FG, 31.7% 3FG
Redd & Jefferson needs help with scoring and Flynn can help he is a versitile point. Great Fit. But they also should consider an available big man since Charlie Villanueva is Considering Free Agency.
11. New Jersey Nets –Tyler Hansbrough, PF, 6-9, 250, North Carolina, Senior, 20.7 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.2 spg, 0.4 bpg, 51.4% FG
One of the best college basketball players in many years, Hansbrough is a winner and should help any NBA team’s frontcourt. Not explosive athletically but extremely intense.
12. Charlotte Bobcats- Gerald Henderson, SG, 6-4, 215, Duke, Junior, 16.5 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.2 spg, 45.0% FG, 33.6% 3FG.
I know Jordan does not want to draft a Duke player but they need a new SG, Raja bell can’t take over a team he is a role player. Henderson is a versatile, strong, quick, multi-talented guard who is as good defensively as offensively, but must keep improving outside shot.
13. Indiana Pacers- Eric Maynor, PG, 6-3, 175, VCU, Senior, 22.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 6.2 apg, 1.7 spg, 46.3% FG, 36.1% 3FG
An extremely experienced, smart point guard who knows the game but isn’t all that athletic.
14. Phoenix Suns- B.J. Mullens, C, 7-0, 275, Ohio State, Freshman, 8.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 0.3 apg, 1.1 bpg, 63.8% FG. Insane athletic ability for a big guy but still very raw on both ends of the floor and as of now is best used as a backup, not a starter. Need to trade Shaq if they want to be a playoff contender! Should trade for Jordan hill and sum other players.
