Voting Question: Would WrestleMania26 be the Same with out “Good ol’” J.R. on commentating?
This is from a Pro-wrestling news site

As noted before, Jim Ross made an appearance before the live crowd at last night’s RAW in Oklahoma City. There were fan reports saying Ross told the fans he would be ringside at WrestleMania but Ross cleared it up on Twitter later, saying he hopes to be ringside at WrestleMania and it’s nothing confirmed. Reports say that JR looked better than he has in a while and has lost some weight.

I think J.R.brings something special to big PPVs and Mania is the biggest.
I think he should really call the HBk and Taker match. It should be another classic and J.R’s voice makes it a little more classic.IMO
What do you think?

Resolved Question: Why is Fox News now calling Glenn Beck part of the liberal media?
Fox News Grapevine 2/19/10
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,586985,00.html
Hours after Joseph Stack crashed his plane into that Austin, Texas office building, some in the media speculated about a possible link between him and the tea party movement.

New York Magazine wrote of his Internet manifesto: “A lot of his rhetoric could have been taken directly from a handwritten sign at a Tea Party rally.”

A Washington Post blog read: “His alienation is similar to what we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.”

And Time magazine’s online write-up twice included links to a background on the Tea Party movement, which have since been removed.

Media commentator Bernie Goldberg compares the coverage to that of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, when liberals blamed conservative talk radio and Rush Limbaugh in particular. Today Goldberg writes that: “The liberal media is playing connect the dots again. For the record, there is no evidence whatsoever that Joe Stack belonged to any Tea Party organization or ever attended a Tea Party. None.”

Resolved Question: What do U think about illegal alien gangs terrorizing OK CITY the most dangerous gang “The South Side Loco’s.?
One state lawmaker is calling gun-carrying illegal immigrants “thugs.”Representative Mike Christian, R-Oklahoma City says gang activity is tied to illegal immigrants and he wants something done about it.
FOX23’s Abbie Alford explains what the proposed law (HB3341) would do if illegal immigrants are caught with a firearm.
They’re known as one of Oklahoma City’s most dangerous gang, “The South Side Loco’s.”
Representative Christian says it’s that gang and other gangs that are turning southern Oklahoma City into quote “Little Bagdad” by illegal immigrant gangs.
The Representative is proposing any illegal immigrant caught with a firearm to face a $5,000 fine and up to ten years in prison.
One FOX23 viewer on Facebook wrote, “”Illegal Immigrants caught with guns should face a long prison sentence if caught period. Also, gang violence won’t stop unless the community steps up and does something about it.”
This proposed gun law now goes to the full house for a vote.
The author of the bill says if convicted felons face the same punishment for carrying a firearm so should illegal immigrants caught with a firearm.

However, there’s another proposed law (HB1828) floating around the State House that would make it legal for certain non-violent convicted felons to carry a shotgun or rifle for hunting purposes.
That bill has been referred to the Public Safety committee.

Resolved Question: Please read this story I wrote. The title might not make sense, I’m not finished though.?
Full by Suzy ******

ONE
All I can remember is lights. They felt hot on my skin. The lights twinkled above my head, thousands of them. So many lights I could not count. Maybe I didn’t see the lights, though. Maybe I felt them. My eyes could’ve been closed and I could have simply felt the lights on my skin. It burned almost. In my head I was screaming, but in reality I was just there. Perfectly still.
I felt other things around me. Things hovering over me. I heard them talk. I understood what they said, but I couldn’t respond. I felt the shadows on me. They were just some human beings standing over me, a delirious girl. They must’ve been really sick people. I felt these sick human beings touch my skin. One stroked my cheek with the back of its hand. It felt nice, cooler than the lights above me.
Then I began to think more. Maybe they weren’t human. Maybe they were some sort of strange species. They could be monsters. They could be ghosts.
Maybe they were unknown.

TWO
I woke up and walked down stairs. I found my mom drinking coffee and watching the News Channel. I smiled and stretched my arms. I walked towards my mom and plopped on the couch next to her.
“You know I’m moving tomorrow, right?” I asked her. I looked at her brown hair and blue eyes.
Her pink lips curled into a smile. “Shut up about your moving so I can forget about it. I am already stressed out enough. Why are you leaving, Sweetie? What did I do to you?” Mom seemed mad. Her eyebrows furrowed and her smile turned upside down.
“Mom, I want to move to Oklahoma to be with Dad. I’ve lived with you since I was six,” I yawned.
“Why would you want to move from Orlando to a hick state? Huh?” she said. She grabbed her coffee and started sipping it.
I have to admit, I was really offended when she said Oklahoma was a hick state. It wasn’t. It was far from it.
“I have to do this, I’m so sorry. I’ll live with the stupid red necks and you can live here with the beach and Tony,” I said.
Tony was Rachel, my mom’s, boyfriend. He was tall and muscular with giant hands and a shaved head. He was six feet tall and weighed one hundred and seventy pounds, like he mentioned all the time.
I didn’t like Tony. He reminded me of body builders. At the same time, he made my mom happy and I couldn’t stop my mom’s beoved happiness, now could I?
“You need to straighten up your attitude!” Mom raised her voice.
“Why? I’m moving tomorrow and you’ll never see me unless I decide to visit, which I wont.”
“I’ll come down there any time, any day, that I want to and you can’t do a thing about it! I’m your mother!”
“And John is my father!”
“So is Tony.”
“No, Mom. Tony is my stupid, new step father who I didn’t eve know about until a week before your wedding. John, he is my father. And I need him.”
I left the room. The truth was, John didn’t need me anymore than I needed a pack of gum. He just loved me, he liked to have me around. It seemed like no one around here did, though. I just got in fights with my mom and barely spoke to Tony. I just frowned or got quiet when I saw him.
It happened like this, I was very different than other teenagers at my high school. I was new, a Freshman, but I would be a sixteen year old Sophomore in three weeks at Moore High School. And I liked to think that way. All the teenagers kind of looked past me like I was s ghost in their life. I wasn’t a nerd, or a freak. I just didn’t have the best tan and the newest clothes. All I wanted was to start over.
So here I go. I’m starting over. It’s all so new but that doesn’t really matter, does it?

“Hurry up!” My mom shouted. She was mad at me, furious at me. She wouldn’t look at me when I walked out of the car and into the air port. She followed me inside, though. Out of nowhere, she hugged me good bye then started to cry. I thought she wouldn’t hug me, though.
“Why are you doing this to me? I can come visit, right?”
“Yeah, come visit.”
“Be good,” Tony chimed in.
I didn’t answer Tony just because of the mere fact that he didn’t know anything about me. He probaby didn’t know my birthday, my middle name, or even my favorite color.
“Bye, Mom. Oh, and bye, Tony.”
“Bye, I love you!” Mom cried.
“I love you, too,” I said. I would call her when I got to Dad’s house. I had to, or she’d show up and slap me silly.

Six hours later, I arrived in the Oklahoma City air port. My dad had picked me up and brought me to his home. When we were driving through Moore, I saw maybe twety thousand trees. He lived on five acres of himself. It was all like him. There were fourteen trees in the front yard, I couldn’t even count how many in the back.
“Dad, is all of Oklahoma filled with beautiful trees like this?”
“Um, for the most part it is.”
“That’s really awesome.”
My dad and I were quiet type people. We never spoke much unless spoke to first, or if something was important. We kept to ourselves, the rest of the world would y

Resolved Question: Do you believe in ghosts?
The Knicks were afraid, very afraid. And it had nothing to do with the Oklahoma City Thunder. For two days, several players had trouble sleeping because they were convinced that their downtown hotel is haunted. “I definitely believe it,” Jared Jeffries said. “The place is haunted. It’s scary.” New York Daily News

Eddy Curry claims he slept for only two hours Sunday night because he couldn’t stop thinking about ghosts roaming the hotel. For years, guests staying at the Skirvin Hilton have reported ghost sightings and strange noises. Legend has it that sometime in the 1930s, a woman jumped to her death while holding her baby in her hands. “They said it happened on the 10th floor and I’m the only one staying on the 10th floor,” Curry said. “That’s why I spent most of my time in (Nate Robinson’s) room. I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel.” New York Daily News

Resolved Question: How can advocates for illegals want amnesty for illegals with Severe unemployment worsens in cities?
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The number of U.S. metropolitan areas with jobless rates above 15% increased in November, according to government figures released Tuesday, despite the biggest one-month drop in the national rate in more than three years.

The Labor Department said 17 of 372 metropolitan areas surveyed suffered unemployment rates of at least 15% last month, up from 15 metro areas in October. National unemployment improved to a seasonally adjusted 10% in November from the 26-year high of 10.2% hit in October. The rate had climbed for 12 out of the previous 13 months before November. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com expect the national rate to edge up to 10.1% when the Labor Department releases its December jobs report Friday.

Three areas in Michigan posted jobless rates higher than 15%, including Detroit. The city wrecked by the collapse of the auto industry continued to lead the nation’s areas of 1 million people or more with the highest unemployment rate in November at 15.4%.

California’s Inland Empire, including Riverside, San Bernardino and Ontario, ranked second to Detroit among larger areas with an unemployment rate of 14.2% in November.

El Centro, Calif., held its place as the metropolitan area with the highest unemployment rate at 29.2%, down from an upwardly revised 31.9% in October.

The second highest rate was in Yuma, Ariz., at 21.1%, a drop from 23.3% in October.

Jobless rates were higher than 10% in 125 metropolitan areas in November, up from 123 in October.

Overall, 143 cities in the Labor Department report had unemployment rates above the non-seasonally adjusted national figure of 9.4%, while 229 reported jobless rates below it.

The three metro areas with the lowest unemployment rates in November were all in North Dakota, with Bismarck at 3.4%, followed by Fargo and Grand Forks at 3.7%.

Large cities with the lowest jobless rates were New Orleans and the Washington, D.C. metro areas, each at 6.1%. Oklahoma City followed close behind with an unemployment rate of 6.4%.

Can it be these Americans just want a better life and want to earn money to feed their kids, pay their bills, not loose everything they work hard all their life to have ? Is this Obama’s idea of change we can believe in ?

Economically, the Democrats brought us the Jimmy Carter years and currently the stimulus plan that would “absolutely guarantee” that unemployment wouldn’t top 8% (so far it has reached 10.2%.) This same stimulus has spent $246,436 per “saved or created” job, which has an average salary of $59,867. And for those who want to blame Bush for the out-of-control spending, you will be interested to know that government spending skyrocketed in the last 2 years of the Bush Administration, during which time the Democrats had taken back both houses of congress.
It is also the Democrats who are bringing 9/11 terrorists to New York City for public trials, amid a backdrop of international apologizing for America, and sycophantic praises of brutal dictatorial regimes, and Islamic fundamentalists.

WOMAN ON PHONE IS HARD TO STOP - ROANOKE, Virginia, November 29 (AP). Have phone, will talk. That seems to have been the view of a woman who set some kind of record by talking to the Roanoke Police Department for exactly seven hours and fifteen minutes Friday night and Saturday. The police did not identify the lady by name. She called at I 1.44 P.m. last night and reported a watch stolen. Once that complaint was disposed of she launched into a conversation which covered practically everything from home furnishings to politics. Busy police answered other calls but the lady kept right on talking. The end came shortly after 7 a.m. She began to slur her words, then came what police described as a soft bump followed by snoring. - Georgia paper
